The Fall Technical Training is meant to supplement a player's normal training session with their team. The Technical Training will run for 8 weeks and will include 1 technical training session per week. These technical sessions will focus on individual touches on the ball and becoming comfortable with the ball at the player's feet. Training sessions will be 1 hour with the first 45 minutes focused on individual technical aspects of the game like moves, turns, dribbling, and some receiving out of the air. The remaining 15 minutes will be 1v1 and 2v2 small games focusing on the techniques learned in the first 45 minutes for the players to build confidence in a game like situation.
To Register:  Log in to your Quad Cities Rush account using the Login link above.  On your account main page, click on the Programs Available button for the player you would like to register.  Select the 2021 Fall Technical Training division and follow the online registration process.
What to bring to training:  Every player must have a properly inflated and sized soccer ball.  The first 45 minutes will be player with their ball working on techniques.  Players should also bring enough water for the entire session as well as wear soccer shoes and shin guards.

** In an effort to equally distribute players between times on a give day, there will be an initial cap on the number of registrations for each division.  The cap may be increased as needed.  There will not be a "wait list" option for divisions so if a time is full, either choose the other time or check back.

Coach Emily Bollman

Emily has been playing soccer since she was four years old, and she has always loved playing the game. Emily grew up playing for Moline Soccer Club and transitioning to travel with Moline United at age 7. In middle school she decided to play with Chicago Fire Jr’s and Eclipse West. Emily was also able to play ODP, making the Illinois State team multiple times and eventually making the Regional team when she was 16, playing at Nationals in Florida. Emily went back to playing Moline United in high school and eventually Sporting QC, which these two clubs eventually became Quad Cities Rush. Emily was a four-year starter for Alleman High School. Emily won many different soccer awards including Metro Pacesetter, All-conference, All-sectional, All-Academic, All-State, AHS offensive player of the year, AHS MVP. Emily was able to play with the Quad City Eagles (WPSL, semi-pro team) for two years and started many games. Emily played Division I soccer at Western Illinois University. Emily was the leading goal scorer for three years, won Summit League Offensive Player of the week, and WIU offensive player of the year. During her summers, Emily played for Illinois Monarch’s in the Chicagoland area which eventually led her to try out for the Chicago Red Stars, making the Chicago Red Stars Reserve Team. Emily coached at the Alleman Girls Soccer camps for four summers during High School. This past spring, Emily was an assistant coach for the 2008 Girls Quad Cities Rush team with Coach Randy Bollman.

Emily received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Health and Wellness from Western Illinois University this past spring. Exercise Science will allow Emily to work with athletes to improve strength and conditioning as well as injury prevention.
